Spring '08: Get a [2d] Life!

This seminar was developed on an experimental basis to investigate alternative ways to provide business and law students with an opportunity to work together to examine the management and legal issues that arise when one engages in activities in online communities like Second Life. The business plans developed by the business teams were built using the wiki tool available in the Blackboard LMS.

This particular experiment led to continued collaboration between business and law students and the use of virtual worlds as a learning platform in BMGT4566: Starting A Business offered by Professor Anthony Sadler of our Center for Entrepreneurship at the Stillman School and INDL9327: Law and Practice in Virtual Communities offered by Professors Judson Jennings and Leonard Nuara of our School of Law during the Fall '09 semester.
